Master 2021 Ki is an Indian Tamil-language action-thriller film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. He has also written the screenplay of this film along with Rathna Kumar and Pon Parthiban ji.
Many stars have also worked in this film, including film stars like Vijay and Vijay Sethupathithere they have supported Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, Andrea Jeremiah and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj in supporting roles. Its story revolves around the confrontation between two personal perspectives of JD and Bhavani in which, for JD, Bhavani is the villain and for Bhavani, vice versa.
Master was initially planned for theatrical release on 9 April 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The makers of the film preferred to wait for a theatrical release instead of releasing it on any over-the-top media service. After a delay of several months, the film released in theaters on 13 January 2021, a day before Pongal.

Master Series Story
Story of Master Series Talk about the master is super clever. Cinematographer Sathyan Sooran and music composer Anirudh Ravichander are the other two silent protagonists of the film who enhance the big scenes with their contributions. Anirudh’s BGM is top class and the songs are sad. On the whole, master is an entertaining verb with passable flaws.
Lokesh Kanagaraj, who co-wrote the film with Ratna Kumar and Pon Parthibhan, also knows Vijay’s best moves by heart. And she’s supplied a slew of moments that will elicit the approval of hardcore Victory fans. There are even moments that work like Vijay’s earlier films.
For example, the kabaddi scene in jail gives Vijay’s gilli-tips. In the process of doing so, Lokesh loses his competitive edge.
Master is not the work of a fanboy like PETA, but a fanboy movie nonetheless. Could Lokesh Kanagaraj be already a fan of Kamal Haasan? In one of the wonderfully choreographed action sequences, Vijay removes Kada and doubles his aim as a weapon – Kamal did it in Satya.
The heroine is called Charu (which was Velu Nayakan’s daughter’s name) and it is not a happy coincidence. Mahanadi Shankar plays the role of a good warden for change.
In the broadest sense, the film is too nameless, adapted for audiences who may not have seen the Kamal Haasan-starrer. But unlike Nammavar, which was a small film in every respect, Lokesh has a lot of hope in the second half, especially with regards to the action sequences. Some of it, like the scenes chasing Laurie, leaves a jarring effect.

Master is neither a purely Vijay film nor a purely Lokesh Kanagaraj film. Lokesh’s self-limiting limitations and compulsion in fan-service dilute the impact of the film.
He has used so many good talents as if considering only fillers and wasted resources that don’t move the story forward. And, they are not the qualities of Lokesh, who created Mangaram and Kaithi.
